Freshers’ TV 2011 was the largest live student television broadcast ever seen in the UK with over 20 student television stations participating in a show lasting more than 3 hours. Organised by NaSTA and hosted by Southampton’s SUSUTV, MADTV were challenged to a live cooking competition. This year MADTV, and indeed all students at the University of Surrey, had a very busy Freshers Week. We were visited by up and coming superstars ‘Rizzle Kicks’, we raved up the headphone disco, we raved to DJ Fresh, we got lost in the foam and we met The Hoff! Not only that, but in the first weekend over 3,000 students moved in to campus accommodation, assisted by the ever amazing Freshers Angels. Good work, everyone, now let’s get back to studying!
